Excursion to the Museum-Reserve “Kazan Kremlin”, the chief historic citadel of Tatarstan , where we visit Kul-Sharif, a mosque which at the time of its construction was reputed to be one of the largest mosques in Russia and in Europe outside of Istanbul; the Annunciation Cathedral (the Blagoveshchensky Cathedral(1554-62)- one of the oldest temples of the Volga region; the most conspicuous landmark of the Kazan Kremlin- the Khan's Mosque, which is also known as a leaning tower; the Spasskaya Tower, which anchors the southern end of the Kremlin and serves as the main entrance to the Kremlin.
We will also visit Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral (Petropavlovsky Cathedral), which is the most valuable architectural monument and one of the spiritual symbols of Kazan, and The Kazan State University, the second oldest university in Russia, founded in 1804.
Excursion to Grad Sviyazhsk Island
Grad Sviyazhsk Island is situated on a high hill in a picturesque mouth of the river Sviyazh, that is 30 km from Kazan. Sviyazhsk is one of the most ancient Russian cities. It was founded in 1551 by Ivan the Cruel and it is possible to get there only by water.

Excursion to the Raifsky Bogoroditsky Men’s Monastery.
The Raifsky Bogoroditsky Men’s Monastery is located on the shore of a beautiful lake deep in the forest in one of the divisions of the Volga-Kama State Nature Preserve 30 km from Kazan. The primary holy of the monastery is the Georgian icon of God Mother, renowned for working miracles and granting healing to the sick.
We will also visit the Trinity Cathedral, the Church in the name of the Holy fathers mauled in Sinai and Raifa and the smallest in the Europe church in the name of the martyrs Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and their mother Sophia.
